| The Division
of Intractable Diseases investigates
the cellular and molecular mechanisms
of chronic and its complication, which
are popular on the verge of an advanced
age, in an effort to provide new intervention
and treatment methods. For this, we
carry out studies on differentiation
mechanisms from stem cells to each organ
cells and its application as a cell
therapy. |

| We also investigate chronic
and metabolic diseases related to heavy alcohol
consumption and consequent its complication,
which will widen understanding of the importance
of proper life style and finally improve national
health. |
