| The Division
of Arboviruseses conducts research and
diagnosis on molecular biology , immunology,
and genetic aspects of Flavivirus such
as Japanese encephalitis (JE), Dengue
fever(DF), Yellow fever (YF) viruses,
and Hemorrhagic fever virus including
Hantaviruse, Rabies virus and other
xoonotic viurses as well as Creutzfeldt-Jacob
disease. |

| We have been performing laboratory
diagonosis of Hemorrhagic Fever Renal Syndrome,
JE, DF, Ravies and West Nile encephalitis
(WNE) and development on progressive diagnostic
methods and novel vaccines for these viral
diseases. It is also part of our primary mission
that laboratory provides training of local
institutes of health and environment and diagnostic
reference servieces. |
