Introduction |
| The Division of Epidemic
Intelligence Service strengthens the
public health system by coordinating
public health surveillance at KCDC and
providing domestic and international
support through scientific communications,
statiscal and epidemiologic consultation,
and training of experts in surveillance,
epidemiology, applied public health,
and prevention effectiveness. |

Major responsibilities
are; |
， Planning of National
Epidemiology Program
， Applied Public Health Training (Epidemic
Intelligence Service) since 1999
- To perform epidemiologic investigations,
research, and public health surveillance
- To Serve the epidemiologic needs of
provincial health departments
- To Present epidemilogic papers at
scientific and medical conferences;
publish our work in the sciectific journal
- Dosseminate essential people health
information to the media and the people
