Introduction |
The team is responsible
for planning, coordination and evaluation
of programs and control 61 notifiable
communicable diseases and
emerging infectious diseases. The team
closely collaborates with 16
provincial departments and institutes
of health, 246 public health
centers, and 13 quarantine offices. |

Major responsibilities
are to: |
- Establish, manage and
coordinate plans for communicable disease
control.
- Establish and implement plans for
communicable disease surveillance.
- Provide education and information
on prevention and control of communicable
diseases.
- Conduct investigation and research
for communicable disease control.
- Develop and coordinate logistics planning
for communicable disease control.
- Build capabilities of health care
workers.
- Conduct international cooperation
